What a pass does not do
It does not play up. A Range pass books Range bays; a Studio pass adds Studio; only a Tour pass opens everything. Play above your tier and you pay the difference in cash, itemised.
It does not hold a slot. A pass is money, not a reservation — you still book like everyone else.
It does not pay the peak surcharge separately: an hour is an hour whenever you play, and the pass rate already sits below peak.
It does not cover add-ons or league entry, it is not refundable for cash, and it is not transferable.
Where the balance lives
A pass rides your account, so it needs one. Buying a pass creates it — that's the only thing an account is really for. Balance and every drawdown are on your account page, and the remaining hours show up as a payment method at checkout.
